Music to Slit Your Wrists To...

I don't know why, but I've been on a Joy Division kick lately. This is a band I've only rediscovered at this point in life as I yearn for something original and sincere. However, I have to admit that I'm glad I didn't listen to Joy Division as a teenager. It was enough that I listened to the Cure, the Smiths, and so on, but if I had listened to Joy Division during that time, I may have just slit my wrists. Apparently, Ian Curtis couldn't take it either. Despite his talent he off-ed himself in his mid-20's in 1980. So, if you like wonderful depressing music and are emotionally stable and taking your psych meds regularly, I recommend Joy Division.
